I hope very much to attend this meeting, I support any idea to expand public expression events into the Battle Green area behind the statue. I can’t imagine anything more appropriate and suitable for that space than our efforts to speak up against what is taking place right now that threatens our country, our democracy, and the Constitution — including our Constitutional right of free speech. We need to provide space for these free speech events in the Center, and there is no more appropriate space than the very space used for expression against tyranny 250 years ago.
