Joe Pato has been serving Lexington since 2008

“As our town moves forward with the complicated tasks of building a new high school and addressing the impacts of MBTA multi-family housing, it is more important than ever to re-elect Joe to the Lexington Select Board.

⏤ Norman Cohen, Lexington Select Board member, 2005-2017, Lexington town counsel, 1972-2001, 1/12 Lexington Observer

Nearly 30 years ago, Joe and his wife, Jeri Zeder, created their home in Lexington where they could raise their two sons and provide them with a first-rate education. Joe first got involved with town government as a Town Meeting Member in 2008, and was twice elected to represent Precinct 2.

Following a distinguished career as a research computer scientist at Hewlett Packard and MIT-CSAIL, Joe made the choice to actively give back to Lexington.

He was first elected to the Select Board in 2013 and has been Chair of the Board three times. He has also served on dozens of town committees.

When he is not dedicating his time to the town, Joe can be found racing sailboats on Boston Harbor.
