Living With Coyotes

Responding to three incidents of residents bitten by coyotes in Arlington, the Town of Arlington presented a panel session on living safely with coyotes. The main presentation was from former Belmont Animal Control Officer John Maguranis where he presented guidance on how to live safely with Coyotes. This was followed by a Q&A session featuring John Maguranis , Diane Welch, Arlington Animal Control Officer, and Dave Wattles, MA Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. Video of this webinar is available on Facebook (you don’t need to login to view).

With coyote sightings in Lexington increasing, this information is good for Lexington residents as well. Information on how to remove a wild animal from your property in Lexington is available on the Town web site.
